Shopify App Developer (Project-Based)

We are seeking a talented Shopify App Developer to join our team on a project basis. The primary task is to design and develop a necklace builder app that allows customers to customize their necklaces before placing an order. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in remote work environments and enjoys creating interactive, user-friendly applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a custom Shopify app that integrates seamlessly with the Shopify store.
• Design and implement a drag-and-drop necklace builder where users can:
• - Select and customize necklace components (e.g., chains, pendants, beads).
• - Drag and drop components to visualize the final necklace design.
• - Preview the complete necklace in real-time before placing an order.
• Ensure the app is responsive and works smoothly across devices (desktop, tablet, and mobile).
• Optimize the app for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to align on user interface and experience.
• Integrate the app with Shopify’s checkout and order management systems.
• Provide post-launch support for bug fixes and minor updates.

Requirements:

• Proven experience developing Shopify apps using Shopify APIs and Liquid.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, React, Node.js, and modern web development practices.
• Experience with drag-and-drop UI/UX design and libraries (e.g., React DnD, interact.js).
• Familiarity with Shopify app hosting and deployment requirements.
• Knowledge of database management and backend services for app data storage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with 3D rendering or visualization for enhanced necklace previews.
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices and customer experience optimization.
• Familiarity with Shopify Plus.
